Abstract expressionism. The idea is that they funded and pushed this genre of art into the mainstream in order to show Americas' counterpart, the USSR, that american artists had freedom to express themselves.
Basically, they were like, "hey communist slaves, look at this:
"We are so free, we can do whatever the fuck we want, even in art. It doesn't have to be pretty, it has to be FREE"
In my perspective, the CIA's financial backing and promotion of abstract expressionism can be seen as an endeavor aimed at undermining the cultural tapestry of human civilization, ultimately with the overarching objective of precipitating its decline. Abstract expressionism, viewed through this lens, represents but one thread in the intricate fabric of human beauty being unraveled. In their pursuit, the CIA is intent on unraveling the stability that underpins our world, thread by thread.The CIA doesn’t care about freedom—they seek and aim to destroy humanity.
