There is no correlation between a specific gender and level of facial recession from what it seems like, but the thing is that the soft tissue- especially the eye area and nose- are less affected by facial bone recession on women than on men.

Most women still have a postive canthal tilt, and a straight nose, no matter how low he cheekbones and recessed the maxilla are.
