Do you also feel that stress creates pain in your body

Sometimes I get a minor injury and the brain is always catastrophizing the pain due to subconscious toughts and expectations, for example I get wrist tendonitis and my brain tells my body to be put on freeze mode and avoid anything that puts pressure on it because working out is part of my life and I can't risk getting injured, but then I become aware of how exaggerated this sounds and the fear goes away and I stop feeling most of the pain I had and it's nothing serious.

I think chronic pain and the level of expectations and perfectionism you have go hand in hand and many people with chronic pain need to fix some of these toughts instead of the actual injury.
