eating a natural diet with fruit and honey will prevent it, i doubt diabetes can be fully cured, but depending on how long u have been diabetic and the type of diabetes it could be attenuated with natural sources of sugar. the notion that sugar causes diabetes makes no sense cuz if anything it would make the body improve insulin sensitivity. even if the mainstream model of insulin resistance progression is correct, then in theory starch would induce diabetes more potently than sucrose

in mice high fat diets gives them diabetes, presumeably cuz soybean oil pufa. so more sucrose better.
