That being said, here's some pointers on using clothing to your advantage:

If you're wearing clothes with similar colors or vertical stripes (illusion of being a bit taller)
If you're wearing accessories (just shows that you are more mature and care about your appearance).

I also thought everything is cope when it comes to fashion but when I wore different stuff (watch, boots etc.) than usually (just a hoodie and jeans) some girls that already knew me commented on it.
