Do sugars from stuff like fruit have the same negative effects as added sugars (cane sugar)? Do they both cause lots of fat and facial bloat?

what about the negatives tho- are they both similar in that aspect?sugars in fruits, milk or honey (natural sugars) almost always have many nutrients that come with it (not really things like maple syrup or agave), unlike most things you'd find added sugars in. not to mention added sugars will spike your blood sugar especially without any fat/protein consumed with it to slow the absorption. 20g of sugar consumed from an apple is much different than 20g of cane sugar consumed from a coca cola
no not really, the main negatives are pretty much the ones i listed, the calories from the added sugar will take up your daily calorie intake while providing very little nutrition, meaning you'd have to eat many other calories of other foods to get adequate nutrition, and another negative of added sugar is the blood sugar spike, which is mostly slowed from fruit due to the fibre and pectin. id say fruit or honey/natural sugars would be best eaten before exercise or even if you work a job and know you'll be on your feet for a while after, because while they still absorb slower than added sugars, it is still quite a high spike that you want to use for energy pretty soon after. carbs that you can eat without worrying about a blood sugar spike or negative effects are things like milk, potato (or other vegetables)what about the negatives tho- are they both similar in that aspect?
