My gaze was once filled with wonder, curiosity, and appreciation of peoples unique faces, but now I can't help but notice the recessed jaws/chins, unaesthetic noses, nasolabial folds, poor skeletal structures, bad collagen, poor eye areas, etc... of passersby. Each Imperfection seems to leap out at me, dominating my thoughts and overshadowing any other aspect of their being. The world has become a gallery of physical shortcomings, and I am trapped within its confines.
Even in larger cities encounters with genuinely good-looking people is rare. It's as if beauty is an elusive dream that's forever out of reach.
