Not the right way to go about it, check crotch to floor inseam and divide by your height, if over 47-8% you have long legs if under 45% you have short legs

My jeans mostly look shit, because I can't be choosy when shopping, only a very few fit me. So if I want a new one, I cannot cherry pick.
