I researched what universities actually do and what they're good at and how they teach you etc.. and I will be breaking it down below and how to get it for free

1. They have a good curriculum structure

How to get it for free:
just copy it from their website lol? and easily make it better?

2. universities and professors are up to date with the latest insights, inventions, developments in their field

How to get it for free:
- get subscriptions to your industry publications, websites, blogs, journals etc..
- follow influencers, experts etc on social media
- join professional networks and online communities in your field
- podcasts and webinars
- online certifications and courses(coursera, udemy, linkedin learning, pirated courses)
- attend conferences, events, seminars in ur field
-subscribe to research and analysis services of ur field

3. up to date on latest scholarly journals

how to get for free:
- you can just find these paid or free online
- google scholar, pubmed, jstor , doaj,
- you can buy individual articles from journals
- public libraries have access to these or loan services where u can request specific articles,
- researchgate, acameia.edu

4. they have periodicals and other resources
-Periodicals are publications that come out on a regular schedule. This includes magazines, newspapers, academic journals, newsletters, annual reports, and more. They're an important resource for staying up to date on current events, industry trends, or academic research.

how to get for free:
- public libraries
- online databases like jstor, proquest, ebscohost. some other paid ones
- bookstores
- direct subscriptions to them
- online news websites
- pirate/crack digital resources/software you need online

5. they dont actually hold secret information in universities, they just make you read books, do courses etc..

how to get for free:
- you can find these online
https://opensyllabus.org/ you can see the best uni textbooks there

- and pirate courses online

6. they have programs for practical application of the information you learn

how to get for free:
- just do it on ur own business after u learn it? lol?

Sitting in your room looking at the computer doing certifications will never compare to going to Oxford/Ivy league and actually making connections and networking, and being surrounded by people from elite families/ex alumni which gives you opportunities you would otherwise never receive.

It's not impossible to make it by yourself, it's just that having connections saves you time and sometimes even works as nepotism.

I myself have gotten chances at mogger jobs that aren't posted online and only got there because I got referred by a friend.

I can only imagine what having friends that belong to powerful and influential families can get you.

But both ways are good, one just takes more time and effort.
