How to treat minoxidil sides

Been applying topical minoxidil for like 3 weeks now to my scalp and eyebrows and just now started to get redness and itchiness of the scalp. It’s not too bad but it’s definitely noticeable and a bit annoying-are there any remedies/fixes to these problems?

I’ve been using topical fin+minox for 5 weeks and noticed itching also

I’m not sure which is causing it since they’re mixed together in a bottle

Probably minox ik it’s a common side effect

I used minox for like 6 months in the past and never noticed itchiness

Although different brands. Used regaine then now using some whitelabel brand, but shouldn’t matter since it’s the same ingredients

If I notice itching after 4 more weeks I may need to isolate the fin from the minox and see which is causing the issue

Got it too. There is 2 thing you can do :

-Use less product( put the less you can on your scalp )
- buy 5% AND 2%. When you see redness and itchiness take 2% and not 5%.

Liquid. Used foam last time

I’ve heard foam causes less sides

Best to use oral minox

But also make sure what you use is real minox, do bleach test
