In past, the concept of "consent" didn't exist. Man would feel horny and he would come up to a woman to fulfill his desires without any consent or questions asked. In nature, there is simply no scenario where a man has to first "take her out on a date", or go into a field to pick some flowers in order to have sex with her.

Sadly, at this moment, we as species have become so degenerated and sick that we indeed live in the most gynocentric society ever...
