The primary reason for the discrepancy is that the Orthodox Church follows the Julian calendar for calculating the date of Easter, while Western Christianity (including Catholic and Protestant churches) uses the Gregorian calendar.
The calendars align next year, so all Christians will celebrate Holy/Great week on the same dates.
