I'd suggest you start with a simple one like OpenShot if you have no experience whatsoever, that's the one I use for work assignments and personal stuff.
Some people like to start with the one they plan on staying on for a long time even if it's more complex to get over the learning curve faster so it depends on you.
Do a little research as there are multiple options.

AE and Premiere are but sometimes/ most times you'll also need Photoshop for ur work
