But on a computer, you can basically emulate all those experiences for much less money, I realized this when I was a kid and got my first PC - all the other toys and activities basically became pointless.
Playing with toy cars became stupid, when I could race Ferraris, Lamborghinis and other supercars in video games on my computer. Playing football, basketball and other sports in real life again didn't make much sense, since I wasn't good at them anyway, but in video games I could play for the top teams at a professional level.
