American revolution is the greatest thing happened to the mankind, we all would be slaves, or perhaps not even alive today.

When a man strikes his slave, male or female, with a rod and the slave dies under his hand, he shall be avenged. 21 But if the slave survives a day or two, he is not to be avenged, for the (N)slave is his money.

It was only servitude for Jews. Taking slaves from war was different. They were to be treated at their discretion

Don’t you think if Jesus was such a hippie he would maybe reconsider some things. Yet he didn’t

I mean he didn’t mention anything about not wearing two different types of fabric. Or stoning your rebellious son in front of the entire village.
Selling your daughter as a sex slave

4) Ezekiel 23:19-20 NET

Yet she increased her prostitution, remembering the days of her youth when she engaged in prostitution in the land of Egypt. She lusted after their genitals as large as those of donkeys, and their seminal emission was as strong as that of stallions.

9) Kings 2:23

Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you bald head! Go up, you bald head!” So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the Lord. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.

Genesis 1

Every man is created with the potential to become the most powerful man in the village. Given that he uses his masticatory muscles in an appropriate manner and refrains from the abominable act of mouth breathing. “Ye shall chew hard sustenance and respirate through the nose” said the Lord “or involuntary celibacy shall be your fate”

  • Kid means a young goat. This meaning was first before English language. Bible is hebrew texts translated to english, so taking literal meanings of the words presented during translations is not the way to go. Strongs concordance the verses. The verse means to basically don't boil goat meat in its mothers goat milk. Im assuming because this is immoral behavior, as the mother birthed the slaughtered goat, and using the milk of the mother to boil her childs meat is unnecessarily immoral for a pleasure.

  • There's explanations on this verse. It was in context. In deu, during those times it was to make an distinction between your average person, and the congregation. Congregation also refers to council. Think of it as the government of god. At this time is was apparently necessary to make an distinction between the tribe/congregation and your average person. To prove it more that this verse had nothing to do with salvation, look at this verse from the messiah: "Matthew 19:12, Some are born as eunuchs, some have been made eunuchs by others, and some choose not to marry for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven." " So its important to read deu in context. Deuteronomy 23:1 does not apply to you.

  • Leviticus 21:17-23 is also in context. Also, the most important part you left out. :"Lev 21:23 Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them. " During those times there were priests that acted as the intermission between god and man, as the world was still new and the doctrine was not yet complete, but its apparent that he did not want the priests to be too closely related to carnalities, or associations with death. That's not what the temple were for. But to be fair your missing a lot of context. It was said in later and earlier verses that it was allowed to eat bread, just not to give it to the priest to sacrifice, or to eat it in certain places of worship. Lots of things like this missing in context.
  • Its not the shitshow you know about slaves in todays world. The concordance is something more akin to indentured servitude, as the congregation back then was way more righteous than now. Also keep in mind, some of these laws were probably codes of conduct according to their practices. Context of who it was meant for is important. Also, KJV which is the older translation makes it clear that the word slave is actually maidservant. Your deceived by false translations. Their father would pretty much sent to work her daughter as a maidservant, not a prostitute slut. They were virgins until marriage as it was not acceptable to commit adultry.
  • Yes, imagining having sex with someone's wife is adultery. This verse also serves as a way to let people understand that its important to introspect constantly, and that it should be a huge occupation of our time to do so. A lot of people think their thoughts are somewhat of a unrelated or hidden thing, but the messiah was highlighting that the nature of sin is deeper than just actions, but also thoughts themselves.
