symbionts and sexual behaviours are intimately (pun intended) related . by symbionts , i mean all foreign matter containing nucleic acids , so all cells and viruses that live within or on u. symbionts can be mutualistic , parasitic , or commensal (both benefit , symbiont benefits harminf host , and symbiont benefits not harminf host , respectively ) u see , symbionts take opportunity of sexual (and social and food chain) interactions to spread to more hosts . while symbionts might be assumed to be bad , the case is more complex than this . different types of symbionts will have differing effects . some symbionts co-evolved with humans , which means they are mutualistic symbiotes . i speculate that it's further complicated , in that its not just which parasites u have , but ur relationship with ur symbionts . its the interaction with ur symbionts that modulates aspects of human life .
any form of "sexual" behaviour that isnt related to a chance of reproductive success , is not truly sexual . the symbionts hijack the things responsible for sexual feelings and use them to their advantage . for example , toxoplasma gondii , a protozoan , in mice , will cause mice to have sexual attraction to the odour of cat urine . mice normally have aversion to cat urine , so this repurposed sexual attractions is not geared toward evolutionary success of mice, but instead to the evolutionary success of toxoplasma , and to the death of the mouse . (not @the MOUSE ) also , this helps the cat get food . the toxoplasma is benefitical to cat , they co-evolve .
to be healthy , normal human , u need the right parasites and a good relationship with them . homosexuality , transsexualism , lesbianism , bisexulaity have been quasi-exponentially increaseing since .... since what ? since humans got civilization ! (alteration of nature) people often blame media , but they have causation in reverse ; media views change when human biology changes . these sexual-behaviourally abnormal humans are a result of disrupted nature with the wrong parasites , lack the right symbionts , and have bad (parasitic) relationships .
