Re-exposing DesignMyImplants fake implant company (Proof)

Last year I exposed this fake service for factually wrong information being spread on the forum and also claiming to have FDA approval without even being FDA registered. (They still have the fda on their website to this day.)

Since it’s being shilled again I want to show proof that the nice looking cases on their website aren’t their own but they stole from another comapny called CPMH, a Brazilian company known for beautiful design work.

It’s a possibility that the most basic and worst looking cases they show are actually theirs, but certainly not these complex, elegant cases they took credit for while having no experience or capability to do them in a million years:

The fact of the matter is, Giant/Surgerymax (myself) was the first and remains the only real private design service focused on aesthetics with any real experience or serious professional capabilities.

After starting it ofc attracted wannabes like designmy, osteocustom, and face2be. I have exposed many using other companies work as their own to substitute for their lack of any experience or skills whatsoever, DesignMy being one of the first. But there will never be another Giant.

Because a lot of it is not true or exaggerated, and it can’t be proven the user is who they say they are.
• Everyone is warned about risks of surgery and always has been. Verbally in addition to the consents signed.
• Photographs would show the implants were not oversized at all, but he doesn’t want to post them, just talk about it. And of course I can’t/won’t share them without consent. Again there is no proof to me this is the case alleged. Wouldn’t that be a loophole for people to find out protected information - just make a post claiming to be that patient on another platform to elicit a response.
• People can message me privately after their surgeries and I have only went out of my way to be as helpful as possible but some people don’t appreciate our efforts. There is only so much I can do as the designer. Mostly just be emotionally supportive and suggest seeing other specialists.
• The surgeon alleged is the most experienced of all my partners and has no other complaints of nerve disturbance causing true symptom burden that I know of. Of course some numbness and tingling is expected and forewarned about - most people don’t even care. And EVERY surgeon has complications if they are experienced. If surgeons and other professionals career is damaged over rare unfavorable outcomes then there would be no doctors, no nurses. Prolific surgeons who have touched countless lives with incredible outcomes also have a fraction of patients with bad outcomes who probably see them as monsters because of factors out of anyone’s control.
• No one can say what a patient feels or does not feel and if they truly feel unbearable pain in their face then that is rare as rare can be and I am sorry that happened. But all that we can do is move forward and look for ways of managing it. Blaming is not going to help and when relationship gets severed.
• Some people have a bad mindset for surgery and it’s near impossible to screen
• Complications aren’t the end of the world and since we are experienced of course we have had some (all my doctors including the ones in USA. Everything from Masseter dehiscence to infections) and it’s not a secret. We are still here to help and almost always get them to a good final point in the end. Only one lost our trust way too early (for example removing implants before the swelling is even gone.)

Of course there is even more but the rest is too sensitive and out of respect I won’t go into it. It’s not appropriate to go in more detail or respond to him on a public forum. But because of the unfair damage it’s caused that is my only & last response about the incident alleged on the forum.

Send dm but I don’t judge plans or give opinions on plans. We make the plan and design custom guides and plates or I can’t take any interest in it.

@RealSurgerymax I'd venture there's a number of us who don't necessarily need custom implants, aren't looking for some super complex orbital osteotomy, etc., but would still like to engage your services for a second opinion or general advice on what procedures would best serve our individual situation (you're prob the only true, bonafide, blackpilled medical professional we have ready access to on this forum).

For instance- I have scans, x-rays and a plan from LACOMS (who you’ve expressed negative opinions on, but there’s a chance my insurance would cover my going to them, so I’m considering it). I’d be very interested in you taking a look (more at my x-rays and scans rather than the plan) and giving me an idea of what I should be looking to have done to my cranium lol (they suggested Lefort I and genio, but as a layman idk if that’s a waste of time).

For what it’s worth I also have an upcoming appointment with Gunson, and am planning on timing consults with Raffaini and Pagnoni while on vacation in Italy towards the end of the year (and for all I know, they could suggest entirely different things, which is where being able to have your input would save a lot of time, money and general grief). Really hoping your appt system will be up by then and that you’ll be open to providing this kind of service; iirc when I booked with Gunson, they ask you to send any scans that you might have on hand, even though he does his own, so that he can get a basic idea.

Personally, I’d pay whatever you asked.

No, because I don’t do all the cases I could. If I simply rushed and did every request in a few hours I probably could do all the cases I did last year in a few weeks. I’m not interested in that.

Appreciate that but I have so much work to do with my own partners and my own patients where I have much more responsibility in their planning/design and need to focus solely on that.

We also make jaw surgery plans and lock it in by making surgical guides and custom plates. Freehand jaw surgery isn’t usually exactly what the plan shows in real life. Estimating the difference between 2 and 4 degrees of CCW/CW rotation visually in the operating room is extremely difficult. We also fix many botches even by prominent surgeons in LA with our custom protocol we will be showing more of that in Feb and April surgery sessions on instagram and YT.

How long does the process take from when I get the referral for a CT? I've only gotten 3 replies in 5 months which makes it seem like surgery in November/end of year could potentially not happen, should I bump more often? I usually do it after a month
