most r waste of time and better to just get summary from chatgpt or yt vid but some rlly good ones like psycho cybernetics, cant hurt me( audiobook mogs for this tho) r worth going through and cherishing slowly. u know its good when u dont wanna finish it quickly to savour the experience. i also like to read some manga like solo leveling, berserk, vagabond, vinland saga and hopefully yours also one day :D

self help: how to win friends and influence people-Dale Carnegie

literature novels:

handmaidens tale-margaret atwood
the power-naomi alderman
pride and prejudice-Jane Austen
jane eyre-Charlotte Brontë

Answer me this. How does it not violate its entire premise? The whole idea is that man craves meaning but it's impossible to find. But then he's just like "Relax, bro. Pushing this boulder up a hill is super meaningful." Well that was easy. I thought it was supposed to be impossible. I asked some reddit philosophy nerds and they were like "Well, that's not actual meaning." But I'm not buying that. Seems like he's describing something meaningful, literally life affirming.

Catch-22, Cat's Cradle, The Stranger, Siddhartha, Slaughter House 5, The Book of Disquiet

recommend you read through wikipedia entires for all of the western canon for efficiency. 90% of the text will be redunant and waste of time when you read the actual books

Read the naked ape by Desmond morris. It’s my favorite book. ( I’ve barely read any books)

this x2. myth of sisyphus is a must read.

#1 recommendation is Tao Te Ching translation by Gai-Fu Geng. Life changing stuff. Short read. They say everytime you read it, you understand it more.
