As dumb as this sounds, it's the truth. If she had darker skin and dark brown eyes she would have been a one hit wonder like all of her other peers in the mid 2000's that lacked talent.
All people talked about back then was her "exotic" light eyes and her "exotic" islandy ways. Convince me otherwise, but since the 2000s if the "black" celeb isn't outright biracial, then she has to have some distinct eurocentric feature to make it and STAY famous with black people. So many are in denial of this, so I know I will get crap for this post. Groan away...
I was grown in 2006 and hated that pon de replay song. And people were mentioning her eyes a lot back then. (Anybody remember when she was a cover girl and the focus for her ad campaign was all about her eyes lol?)
