This thread is for getting advice and discussing with my Muslim brothers if I should get a girlfriend.

Life is going good. Being a good looking man who is studying in college and going through regular sightings of beautiful women, I'm getting strong feelings to get into a relationship that would satisfy my carnal desires, support me in my career and provide emotional support.

The problem is that I'm a Muslim who is practicing to some extent. The point is that I should not miss the chance of my youth days where I'm being complemented for my looks, I should definitely get a girlfriend and enjoy life because this time won't come back. But in contrast, I should not indulge in haram just to enjoy few years of my life and risk my afterlife by getting punished in the hereafter. This is the form of ambivalence I'm going through. However, here's another point, get a girlfriend and get into LTR and repenting later - as God is forgiving and merciful. But there's a chance that I could die anytime being indulged in haram and not getting a chance to repent, as God forgives everything but only before death and death is unpredictable. It totally depends on the unseen future. This is a temptation and a test. If I pass this test I would be rewarded in this life and hereafter, marrying a pious beautiful woman and enjoying in the hereafter. But what if I enjoy in both lives? Getting a girlfriend, enjoying and repenting later and also quiting haram by marrying and leading a pious life. There is also a high chance of forgiveness if I make sincere repentance, but it might not be guaranteed. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said paradise is full of sinners who repented. Also don't forget that Satan might be involved in these temptations. What should I do guys? I'm stuck.

Seeking an advice from the people of my Muslim brotherhood on the forum.

Your situation mirrors mine almost exactly. In western society you have to be haramaxxxing (even with Muslim girls) or accept arranged marriage. I lost my V when I was in uni and because I couldn't marry - or knew the possibility would be too premature and off putting I never continued. I don't regret Islamaxxing / conservativemaxxing. There are so many whores around today. Almost every curry I know that haramaxxed with a white sloot have broken relationships or ended in divorce. So I'm treating my lack of dating life a blessing in disguise.

You won't be forgiven for sins you knowingly commit in the hope you will be forgiven if you repent. JFL what kind of faith is that? I spoke to an oldcel yesterday and he said he didn't want to go Hajj. When asked why? He's like 'Im so young now I want to chill out before I go Hajj. All my sins will be forgiven if I go now and I'm not ready yet'. Nigga is no different to whores who convert to Islam and think it's a slut reset button. Just accumulate sins and be forgiven theory.

I need to mention that the form of harammaxing I'm talking about would be 'safe haram relationship' in which I won't commit Zina (fornication) except cuddles, kissing and everything but not Zina. This would increase my chances of repentance because I stayed away from a major sin (Zina). It's not about losing virginity, it's about companionship majorly and other forms of 'safe' haram acts like kissing.
I already know I'm going to marry a pious beautiful woman, but the thing I'm losing a lot in my young years a hits harder. I know this is a test from Allah.

I assume sins are committed both knowingly and unkowngly. Even if we commit sins unknowingly we do know inside ourselves that what we are doing is haram, so there is a form of equivalent relationship in this.

This is not how it works bhai, only sincere repentance is acceptable to Allah, and i feel the same too, getting stares from cute girls in my college, getting told by my friend she likes me and stuff but there is still imaan in my heart that stops me from taking the first step, even i want to feel love, even i want to hug, kiss and have sex but zina is a very very big sin, 100 lashes is no joke. Keep it in mind

Women around you may be hot, but Jahannum is hotter.

Have you ever experienced a burn ? Now multiply that by 70 times.

"Just sin bro, you are young. Allah will forgive you when you are old" is a waswasa (inspiration/whisper) from Satan. He is your enemy. He wants to destroy you.

Abd-Allah ibn Masood said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Which sin is worst in the sight of Allah? He said, To make any rival to Allah, when He has created you. I asked, Then what? He said, To kill your child for fear that he will eat with you. I asked, Then what? He said, To commit Zina with the wife of your neighbour. (Reported by al-Bukhari, 8/492; Muslim, 1/90).

Haram is haram. If you would avoid alcohol and pork, why would you not also avoid zina?

Don't be like those Muslims who would vehemently despise the one haram thing whilst committing every other sin in the book.

There isn't any "dating" in Islam, please stop warping it. You could very well 'date' with the intention to marry and still commit zina, I know of this first-hand.

But I didn't expect this from forum, I thought you are weak Muslims with weak iman and say "go for it bro". That's it, this proves that Islam will win in the end even in the forum. Following the Quran and Sunnah = living in 1699? Have some shame.

Yeah but the parents have to watch.
There's still a possibility nonetheless, it's just bs. I'm also in a similar situation to you but I'm not going to your lengths given the possibility of haram. You are unaware of what the Shaytaan can do if you believe such things are permissible.

Note that it is permissible for a man to speak to a non-mahram woman, subject to important guidelines and conditions, the purpose of which is to prevent fitnah and sin. These conditions include :

1- That should be done without being alone with her (khulwah).

2- That should not go beyond permissible topics.

3- There should be no fitnah (temptation). If his desire is stirred by talking to her or if he starts to enjoy it, then it is haraam.

4- The woman should not speak in a soft manner,

5- The woman should be wearing full hijaab and be modest, or he should speak to her from behind a door. It is better if they speak on the phone, and even better if they communicate via letters or e-mail, for example.

6- That should not go beyond what is necessary.

I am aware that you have some difficulty comprehending things.

However, your words precedes the learnings of the Quran and Sunnah and those of knowledge, stop enabling things that were never permissible. All it does it open doors to zina, like I said, you underestimate the power of the Shaytaan.

Don't make me get started on your thread about your fiancee seeing you 'naked' either, you're not in a position to be giving advice on this matter.

Rather, @HappyJanitor you should be consulting your local imam. As embarrassing the question may be, I'm sure he'd answer it perfectly.

It's not absolutist. Tbh if your going to work watch movies and hang around with a girl having a meal I don't see a problem. You need to get to know a girl I can understand that. But intention and necessity to marry as soon as possible is the most important factor here.

If you're kissing and hugging yeah that's haram. It's a soft haram but still haram - however I'll admit I wouldn't mind doing it. Not justifying it unlike you. Sex is unforgivable sin outside marriage.

i couldn't imagine that being "soft haram" considering the prophet muhammad s.a.w told us "For one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle is better for him than that he should touch a woman who is not permissible for him." and now imagine kissing or hugging a women who is not permissible for u

I'm not saying it's permissible. I'm just saying society is so cucked and anti-marriage I have no other possibility. Even on Muzz most girls are liberal. When you come across a 'religious' girl they're salafi type and that's too much for me smh.

Based. Prophet Muhammad had never seen a hand of any unrelated women in his entire life.
