Its a complex situation: Dudes in my class are geeks (no more need to explain)
-flatmates older than me and I can't really go out with them, and my Og friend group we are doing uni in different cities so almost no linking up.

My plan is to go another flat next year, with guys my age to try and hang out with them. What do you think?

Yes, that's what I did back when I was in college, there were very few other guys so I hanged out mostly with other girls, I was like their best gay friend(except I am not gay), after about two years of orbiting a girl from one of those groups, I finally got lucky, she became my girlfriend and lost my virginity...

Don't lose any opportunities to socialize, you should always hang out, go out and meet people, be friendly with them, etc.
Hanging out with groups of girls like their best gay friend also brought me other benefits - I learned more about them, what they talk about guys, saw what they do in private, how they fool around, prance around half-naked in dorm rooms, cuddle and kiss each other, I also got lucky and was invited to kiss and touch other girls that were good friends of my girlfriend, and saw her also fooling around with other girls, etc.
