Single motherhood is already the norm in a few countries (Russia, America, Scandinavian/nordic countries). By 2030, it is projected that 50% of foids will end up being single and childless. This 50% cohort will never get married and will be perpetually sleeping around and living hedonistic lives until they no longer can. The remainder will be the ones carrying the populations of the nations onward and they will be doing so chiefly by single parent rearing. I wager that 10-20% of people will choose marriage in the coming 1-2 decades. Of that 10-20%, 60-70% will have failed marriages and divorce (as is the case right now). This means that at any given time, most people will not be married.

There is no future wherein any first world country takes a sharp turn to become truly religious and decide to re-implement conservative Christian values into the culture. Secularism will only increase. Monogamy will be seen as an oddity that is incompatible with human nature (which it is in fact incompatible).

Thoughts?

Seems like this is what it is. Not much to disagree on here.

I would go out on a limb and say at some point where it because painfully obvious that this is the route society wants to take, marriage as a lifelong thing will be scrapped altogether.

To introduce some stability to kids, governments will have to update nuptial agreements between parties.

Unions between 2 parties will probably be made to last 3 or 5 or 10 years. Sosmthing like that. Alot more realistic considering the rate at which people get divorced these days.

Monogamy wasn't the norm through out history and only came thanks to civilization and religion. Now with religions gone and feminism taking over we regressed back to the ancient times where only the top men get most the females

An increasingly secular government does not care about introducing "some stability to kids". Secular governments can't wait to inject these kids with various hormones and vaccines, they aren't preoccupied in the health of the family unit. Secular government laws and ideology are in stark opposition to anything and anyone that is not an "independent" and liberal consumer.

Yeah I didn't think of it from that angle.

Very very interesting times are coming.

Right. Monogamy was the norm because it was reinforced either by the state or the church or both. When we are left to our own devices, we devolve and behave like literal wild animals—especially when it comes to reproductive/mating strategy. The end game is foreshadowed by animals in the wild because our lowest biological impulses are no different to these animals.

Most animals in the wild practice single parent rearing. First, the female animal will seek to get inseminated by a male with good genetics and then they go their own separate ways with the male inseminating more females and the inseminated females later raising the offspring by themselves.

Idk nigga shit is supposed to get bad so the end time prophecies can be fulfilled. The world is ran by satanic jews after all

I think its possible that non-secular cultures will literally out breed secular ones prior to the later degenerating into pure polygamous chaos, we're already seeing this trend in America with Mormons and the Amish virtually doubling their population every other half decade while nations such as South Korea are experiencing birth rates of 0.6 (still dropping btw), followed suit by practically every other urbanised secular first world nation. Combine this with the addition of contraceptives and widespread acceptance of abortion, the rational for non-religious people to actually reproduce drops to a significantly low probability.

tldr; disagree with title, there may be a small period where non-monogamy is the norm but if you look at the birth rates of demographics the future is likely theological and monogamy oriented; depending on which religion decides to breed more.

If SK collapses we will have to see how the rest of the world acts

Would hope so, people have lost faith in religion and think they know everything about every topic

Which is going to be super fascinating, the feud between whether to revert back to a form of enforced monogamy/restricting either genders rights in an attempt to increase the birth rates vs sticking stubborn and refusing to make a shift in the current cultural norms in hope people for some reason start breeding (jfl at this). Either or, given the insane gender political gap, probably won't bode too well with give or take 50%+ of the population

as @Brus Wane said, very interesting times lie ahead
