Anti-White sentiment ( English : Anti-White sentiment ) is a sentiment of white exclusivism and racism that expresses disapproval of Caucasian white people and white supremacy . Unlike anti-American sentiment , it expresses feelings and claims that are negative towards white people themselves and their values and ideas.

Racism , invasion , and slavery by white people have continued for a long time historically based on white supremacy, and many events that can be seen as anti-white sentiment have occurred due to this. Historically, Japan has been a country where anti-white sentiment and discriminatory sentiment against white people have been stronger than in other countries, and anti-white sentiment has existed since before the war . In 2020 , the death of George Floyd led to a sudden spread of fierce anti-whiteism, and large-scale riots. In addition, misconduct by white police officers was exposed one after another . [13]

In 2021 , in South Africa , the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) political party advocated black nationalism with the aim of realizing a "South Africa for blacks," and carried out radical street movements that included violence and ``Kill white people.'' ” [14 ]
Regarding the ``Buffalo Massacre'' in the United States on May 14, 2022 , in which a heavily armed white man targeted a supermarket with many black people and killed 10 people, Eugene Washington said, ``These black victims were killed by white supremacy.'' He was killed.'' [ 15] [16]
On July 9 , 2022 , three black people (a 16-year-old woman, a 15-year- old woman, and one other person unknown) got into an argument with a white woman (a 57-year-old woman) on a bus in New York, evoking anti-white sentiment. An incident occurred where a person used abusive language . [17]
On January 7, 2023, a black man was detained by police in Memphis, Tennessee, and died after being violently assaulted, sparking demonstrations in Memphis and New York . [18]
