I have my own experiences with retinoids, but I'm not really talking about anecdotes, but rather a more scientific proof
afaik there are some studies that could be considered to put retinoids under suspicion, but none of them are actually even close to actual human studies on this exact phenomenon...
however it has not been outright disproven by a study either, and dismissing the sheer number of anecdotes on this online would be foolish...
