Lollipopmaxxing, anybody?
It's hard to explain but I have this constant urge to have things in my mouth, it's like a fidgeting response almost; chewables and such never seem to scratch that itch, because it's too involved, too stressful.
Regular hard candies on their own are boring; you can swirl them around of course but you don't get to play with a convenient stick that a lolly has; it's the perfect candy.
Like @Jpg says, it's also really easy to trick your hunger response with it so maybe you dumb curries could leanmax with this? Who knows...
