WHAT CAUSES NO TEETH TO SHOW WHEN SMILING

Im 16 rn. From years 0-14 whenever i ued to smile with my teeth my teeth barely showed.
Something happened in puberty and now all my teeth are shown when smiling but i just want to know what causes this? And what changes to my bones might have happened in puberty to fix it?

When you "try" to smile with your teeth but no teeth actually show or little show.
I always used to be envious of those whose teeth used to show back ehen i was a kid lmao
