ES = IPD/bizygomatic width. Should ideally be anywhere from 0.45-0.47.
His I’m pretty sure is 0.42 or even below.

Nvm I was right the first time; it is indeed IPD/bizygomatic width
Where ES stands for “Eye Separation”
It’s more important than IPD. Even if one’s IPD is normal they can get fucked over if their bizygomatic width is, for example, too high (which will lower their ES ratio). So harmony will be off in that case despite IPD being within normal range.
That’s a problem I suffer from too. While my IPD itself is not that bad, my ES ratio is like 0.435 due to my high bizygomatic width.
