Absolute brainlet take, ChatGPT is just statistically predicting words, there's no actual understanding behind it. Answers are often wrong, APIs change faster than you can train new models, AI doesn't incorporate context or debug problems, the only people going extinct are Indian bootcamped JS frontend devs.

A competent c++ coder is a needle in a haystack and they're paid extremely well and are usually skilled and talented in doing many things. Financial trading systems, online game cheats, etc etc, c++ is top tier but takes years to learn to an employable level. Kinda wish i learned it.
