What’s this I hear about maxilla moving up during puberty?

Read it on lookism somewhere that apparently testosterone causes the face to move up hard during puberty in boys, lowering the gonial angle.
Anyone know more?

My gonial angle has lowered from 14 to 16, but my maxilla stayed about the same. If I didn’t have braces, I guess my maxilla would have moved up. Fuck jewdontics
