When a girl likes you a lot of stuff you'll say will make you laugh so it might seem to her that she likes guys who are funny but in reality she actually just finds guys funny who are attractive to her. Bit of chicken or the egg situation here.

makes conversation fun and girl laugh which is what they say “guy funny with humor”, as a plus also makes you looks like as smart
