In reality this is impossible to answer in one way. It heavily depends on ones skull shape.

Assuming you have perfect skull (balanced forhead with no slope, flat and broad roof, prominent occiput) curly fringe with undercut will mog, beacuse those tight sides will heavily highlight your cheekbones.

Fluffy curtains on the other hand, also called as wavy middle part is an extremely good haircut if you must cover up some skull flaws. It will frame your face to the best proportions when cut and styling is mastered and it will fucking reshape your subhuman skull and give off a warrior skull impression.

It will combat effectively:

-early corners (good hair density required)
-not squarish hairline impression
-slopped forehead (this is hard or impossible to achieve with the curly fringe from the side profile)
-slopped roof of your skull
-flat occiput bone
-even some fuckin ear deformations

Those "neat curtains" are just fluffy curtains on day 3, or just a cut without styling, so I wouldn't count it as a separate category here.

In short: perfect skull - curly fringe with undercut, flawed skull - wavy middle part
