Start with 5 minutes a day and after a week increase to 10 minutes

I used to do it around 2 hours a day but lazycel nowadays and only read and listen to native material. Get the basics like hiragana, katakana, basic grammar like particles and conjugation then some kanji. Don't do too much at once or you'll be overwhelmed and give up. Also don't make the mistake I made, immerse yourself in Japanese immediately once you start understanding a bit(after a few months). Good luck bull.
