tl;dr -
Anon was contracted by the CIA to research how motion picture affects people and learned that our brains cannot differentiate movies, TV Shows, etc. from reality and we create "false memories" from them.

The problem here is that humans are meant to emulate the actions of successful humans but when a character in a movie or show is successful, the actions they took are often times not realistic and emulating them will not lead to the same success.
If this is true, it could be a key factor in why women nowadays seem to REQUIRE Chad to be happy. Almost all movies that have one, depict the important female character ending up with Chad. They interpret this as "I'll get Chad eventually and then I'll be happy". This seems to explain why it's so black and white with them. Either they get chad or they're unhappy. They won't accept less because they've been programmed to know that the only way they'll be happy is with Chad.
