Advertisements are a spawn from hell

youtube puts multiple ads and makes them unskippable, streaming services like Hulu, HBO and Netflix are/going to charge you and still make you watch ads. Everytime you scroll on a short video platform there is an ad every 15 seconds, and those are not including advertisements made by creators on the platforms themselves. I was watching a movie on a streaming platform and there were ads throughout to avoid these I would open split screen so I could do something else while the ads play but when I did so the advertisements wouldn't play and would make me have to exit which would restart the ads.
I don't even know which streaming platforms I'm paying for anymore since there are so many and you'll always need a subscription to a new one for just wanting to watch a certain show or movie. One day I bet they'll play advertisements in our dreams.
