I had success with online poker from 2005-2010. Then the competition got tougher as the market matured and government regulations blocked cash flow.

For the last 5+ years I've had success with Print-On-Demand e-commerce and content marketing. My peers who earn more passive income than me are crushing it with Facebook+Google ads, affiliate marketing, branding, YouTube, and online courses.

For a while I was doing transcription and closed captioning. This didn't require a degree, but it did require fast typing.

If I didn't have a degree but I wanted an online job with decent pay, I'd strongly consider some kind of programming, cybersecurity, marketing, advertising, or SEO certificate. Also being multilingual without a degree can be a way to get some decent online jobs (i.e. French-English Online Gaming Chat Support)

The "best" countries can change quickly. For example, I liked Ukraine during the summer season but now it's obviously one of the worst countries. Sihanoukville, Cambodia used to be a cool place for geomaxing, then the government sold out to China and it became a casino wasteland in 2 years.

Also as more people become aware of geomaxxing, it can go from a hidden gem to Chad-dominated and high prices in just a few years.
Personally I like SEA for WiFi, safety, lower cost of living and Central/Eastern Europe during the summers. Central/South America are decent.

Video and podcasts seem to be more premium content now. But written content is a type of legacy content and there are still people who prefer to read text. Educational/informational content is still considered a resource. "Blogs" that have 200+ articles tend to be considered more of an authority site than a blog.

I see you mentioned online poker in one of your replies, are there any other little known areas like that in which money is made? What are the odd or not so conventional ways that people are making money which isnt taled about in the normal world. For example crypto is popular now but there was a time where that was some strange niche thing that nobody knew about as wealth generation in general is something that doesnt ever seem to enter the average wageslaves mind, they just "work"

It doesnt have to be passive income in particualr, I'd say that most guys are fine with putting in effort and focus into anything as long as it actually rewards them for it though passive would of course be ideal

There are emerging trends and evergreen niches. Poker is a subniche within casino/igaming and crypto is a subniche within finance. Both were emerging trends and the early adopters are the ones who made the relatively easier money compared to now. The more general and mature a niche, the more competitive and saturated it usually is.
