I have been using both these supplements for tanning but I recently have red that Lycopene increases cancer if you have been a smoker or currently smoking. (Orange coloring beta carotene causes this)

From what I know this does not apply for Astaxanthin tho..

My question is does anyone know a replacement for Lycopene because I dont wanna end up all red because of the astaxanthin?

just take beta carotene

lutein+zeaxanthin

Doesn’t absorb half as good as lycopene
Take with a fatty meal because it’s fat soluble

Similar to how Accutane (chemically similar, Vitamin A derivative) needs to be taken with fats so it can be readily absorbed
