I still think its not clear its mostly for fighting dandruff but some sources claim this

Seems like he always had a long forehead to be honest, but I can't find any picture of his hairline actually receding or thinning on the crown. Or his hair loss could have accelerated in adulthood, but hard to tell if he's been on finasteride since early adulthood.
