The conventional wisdom is that humans are a K selection species, Problem is that this is just a yet another normie delusion the purpose of which is to defend the idea that humans are monogamous. The reason birthrates are lower now is merely because of birth control and feminism. Left to their natural impulses humans will breed like rats and have literally dozens of offspring many of whom will die young. Look at the third world where you got dumb as rock males fathering literally hundreds of children. How the fuck does that count as K selection?

I suspect that the reason humans are considered a K selection species despite all the blatant evidence suggesting otherwise is merely because suggesting that they are actually R selected would imply that monogamy isn't natural which would destroy the normie bluepill delusion about female nature.

I don't believe this is to be true, humans take forever to be raised to a decent age where they can take care of themselves, where as baby giraffes can hit the ground out of their mother's womb and already walk

The reason humans have so many kids is because we seem to enjoy sex more than most animals who only do it during mating season, also due to humans breeding with very low quality males and females, it screws up the entire gene pool where as in nature the harshness of living would surely weed out the garbage young humans
