What I have found out by getting a bit older is that as you age, your perception of time changes as well.
When I was 18, I used to think 25 year olds were basically grown ups.

Now that I'm 27, I am beginning to see a pattern; if you haven't lived much, each year feels like an eternity since it actually amounts to a low % of the time you've spent alive, but they more you live, the less significant each passing year becomes in the sum of years of your life.
