Makes good money just make sure its in a good area and know how many people tip in the area etc and what they order usually because more expensive orders means more money

It can be worth it. It depends on your market though. In my area. Grubhub is better, but in the city two hours away doordash was better. You could make 25-30+ an hour if you know what you’re doing.

There are risks though. You’re putting more wear and tear on your car, your tax burden is higher than with a normal W2 job, and the safety aspect too. More at risk of an accident, or possible victim if a crime like robbery or carjacking. I always have a switch blade knife in my car at all times. If I’m delivering in the hood or some pitch black rural area I carry it with me.

TDLR: it’s a good side hustle and easy way to make money.

You can make 30 dollars an hour+ delivering food if you do more then just doordash. I used to make 300-400 a day doing that shit before I found my current gig.

With delivery in particular you can use standard deduction to pay next to nothing in taxes once you get past the scary barrier of having to file them yourself, however that being said yeah self employed taxes are fucking terrible when you dont have deductions.

I need to be capable of driving first. If I would be able to, I would make some money as a dilvery man. It is actually a cozy job. Driving around in a car and bring people light packages. And it is even easier now since most of the time people do not have to sign anything. So, really just a cozy job, driving around. The money is also somewhat decent as well.
