Imagine you are a father waking up at 5 in the morning to work everyday and still you are not able to pay for your son a haircut every month while you send him to a school full of mid class people which are also your neighbours who can afford it. You can't afford to buy him decent sneakers and clothes for sports class while everyone has cool nikes and adidas, etc, while he asks you everyday for them, you can't even pay school books for him everytime he needs them or afford buying him decent school material, you can't pay him school trips with his classmates and all because you have to pay rent, bills, etc. You wouldn't feel as a man, or at least you would feel like you are dishonored. I've seen it happen a lot when i was in europe.
