Haircut advice?

I never knew what hair is good for my head and my local asian barber is stupid and doesn't give me advice, do you autists have any idea? Should I let it grow further? I always got two block but I think should stop because there is always a time when the sides stick out and look disgusting, advice from other asians appreciated
