Sure, you can do neck training, but that's pretty ogre, and requires more than someone with a short neck

btw just tell him you're training for a martial art. There's legit shown to be a correlation between neck thickness and win rate in MMA, also thicker neck helps reduce concussions, etc.
Only drawback is maybe you start snoring or get sleep apnea jfl

you can increase shoulder height by holding breath unironically… I do it sometimes when passing by guys about my height or taller whilst flexing my height up as much as possible. 6’1 flat at night
