How do I shorten mid face without surgery?

My mid face is long. It was shorter a year ago. My face now is just very slightly longer, from bad habit. When it was slightly shorter I looked normal, now it has crossed the line, where it looks almost freakish. What are some habits or technique to shorten midface. Can’t get surgery till older.
