If u eat the correct amount of protein it’ll help u lose weight and maintain/ build muscle simultaneously

Protein is good for losing bodyfat I recommend eating mostly things rich in protein in that sort of diet

I am cutting a bit now to lose 20lbs , I track calories high protein fat and low carb , eggs meat nut butters
are you in calorie deficit and protein surplus at the same time?

A egg contains 6g of protein. So it'll work
how about 15 eggs a day, some meat and some onions? would that be good?

i dont think its possible to gain muscles on a caloric deficit

What would avoiding carbs do?
carbs provide an immediate energy source. without carbs the body is forced to use fat and protein only, some of which will come from fat stores

But why would that make you gain muscle?

You will build muscle on a caloric deficit
only the minority

"For some people, yes, it is possible to build muscle in a calorie deficit. For example, those who are new to resistance training and/or have higher BMIs may find a heightened response to lifting weights and experience greater losses of fat mass in a calorie deficit."

i think the best is to just eat your TDEE while lifting regularly and u will build muscles and just slightly lose fat

Unless you are cutting by 1000 calories a day and eating goyslop, you will build muscle on a cut.

eating pure meat and eggs will make you quickly consume way too much protein, do i just cap protein at like 190g/ a day?

1.5-2g of protein per kilogram of bodyweight.

Make sure to eat fatty fish too, I suggest salmon/norwegian trout just because it tastes good and you can't mess it up
