took antibiotics for 2 years and I stopped using them last year cause my stomach hurt all the time. Now I have horrible cystic acne been trying probotiocs but its not working I wish my skin went back to how it was.

Everything I do barely works I have the most complex skin care routine ever and its only barely making progress my skin is only slightly healing

I could try accutane but the last time I trust dermatologist memes I fucked my gut biome I had like slight acne now its cystic.

I think in the long run it relates to my gut because my acne only got bad after anti biotics so that is the cause of it

Is there any hope? @dogberry

most likely not related to puberty then but could still be hormonal idk, acne is complex.

I'd try and approach it as an individual problem unrelated to your gut biome, even if it is related it's very hard to tweak your gut biome (outside of professional stuff like a fecal transplant or smth 🤢).

Am curious though, have you tried cutting dairy?

I don't eat much diary like I said tho like I had zero issues until anti biotics well not zero but milk acne.

2 YEARS ON ANITBIOTICS??????

Who the fuck told you to do that, are you fucking crazy?

My doc makes me take antibiotics only when it’s really bad and im ill af, only for 2 weeks.

And he makes me take probiotics with that so I don’t feel like shit.

Bruh wtf is your doc smoking on

Idk I didn't know any better and he never stopped prescribing it and said I should keep taking it

Try cutting it out entirely, even though you said you've had zero issues it's still worth a shot. Dairy is one of the most common causes of breakouts and it's pretty conceivable that heavy antibiotic use might wipe out your lactobacillus colonies thus rendering you lactose intolerant. When lactose intolerant people eat dairy, they break out.

Something similar happened to me, I overused stomach antibiotics a couple years ago and became completely lactose intolerant afterwards. I'm east asian so I was probably bound to become lactose intolerant anyways but I had a ton of other digestive issues so it probably is related. Nowadays dairy pretty much always makes me break out.

your gut flora is fucked, but it’s not really about what you eat, more about what you don’t eat. stop taking the probiotics rn as it’s probably making it worse, there is a place for probiotics but they come after you stop the inflammation, dumping more bacteria onto a bad gut flora will just make it worse, cut out ALL processed sugar and gluten, don’t eat any bread or pasta, eat a moderate amount of fibre, stick to an animal based diet with lots of bone broth, once you do this diet for a few weeks then you can add probiotics, like kimchi and kefir

yeah, don’t be scared is my point.

Try to get better, but if it doesn’t it’s already over man.

I wouldn’t wish cystic acne to anyone, yank that acc and pray to Gandy.
