I think eating a meal of protein will help u lose weight faster tbh and not lose muscle

If u lose too much weight and muscle you’ll get lose skin and look worse

but I heard that calorie deficit is bullshit, is fasting better for long term leanmaxxing

I mean it’s better to be in a healthy deficit than a bad one

Like if u eat 1 burger a day and nothing else technically you’ll be in a deficit but you will still have a puffy face

if you crash diet, yes the metabolism will also crash and your body will enter a state of stress thus releasing cortisol and holding onto more fat. You should eat better and cleaner/leaner foods after fasting.

cortisol also increase epipheprin and thus increases fat mobilization and oxidization

eating healthy foods that taste good is better option, as you won't have cravings and can still have the body of your dreams

also you have to exercise, if you want to be in your best shape, you have to exercise

epinephrine is adrenaline, it's not released when you aren't in flight or fight situations. You're talking about fasting. the type released from stress atp is going to be damaging not helping.
 
Anything that helps you lose weight is good. But the ideal approach is probably building healthier food habits and eating overall well, just a bit less when you wanna lean down

limit sugar regardless, literally too addictive. any time i dont completely cut it out i cant stop eating it in moderation im all or nothing cause of autism i either have no processed foods or if i have a little i wont be able to stop

going over cal maintenance while intermitent fasting isnt bad, you can def bulk while doing intermitent fasting you will get the benefits of increased focus during the fasted state plus the spike on hormone production and still be able to bulk

however i personally dont see the point of doing any sort of fasting if my goal is to get over cal limit, i already have to eat a lot so having to shove more food in a lesser time span is just unpleasant and more difficult than if u were to spread it regularly

Fasting + 1 cigarette + coffee + electrolytes is all it takes.
 
How hard can it be?

If you have muscle then eat high protein and less cals

If you have 0 muscle eat less cals
