Plastic has more resistance but it's toxic and cancerous so i only chew mastic gum now.

Yes mouthguard clenching is by far most effective. I'm looking into leather clenching rn.

Mine broke like months ago but I just turn it and it works fine lol
I have both rn but prefer mastic gum, much easier to adhere to and you can do it throughout the day
