Many years ago when I was at University during a conversation about the high cost of accommodation we all suffered from, one of the girls in out group said her rent had gone down, it was literally less than half what we paid only a few doors away from her.
She then confessed that her landlord was a peeping tom and he had dropped the rent when she said she was moving out.
Her landlord had the whole floor above the three rented rooms below.
She had noticed powder and debris on the bathroom floor directly above the light pull switch, on closer examination there was a small hole drilled next to the round plastic cover. She noticed if she had the bathroom light off sometimes at night you could see light thru it. And everytime she went to the bathroom withing minutes she would hear slight scuffling noise above her and then nothing until she had finished bathing and turned the light off, then again she heard a slight noise above and then could see the light thru the hole again.
She said she didn't bathe with her light on for a few weeks and when her rent was due and she pretended she didnt have enough to pay and was going to have to move out.
She said her landlord came all nice and said not to worry he understood and dropped it to less than half what the others were paying if she wanted to stay.
She quickly decided this was easier than working a night job to cover costs.
She said she would purposely lay in the bath reading a book for ages with all on show for her peeping landlord and joked she could sometimes hear him panting as he was obviously jerking off as he watched her.
Some of the other girls in our group were disgusted and called it prostitution, us lads thought it was cool idea but one of the other girls asked her to let her know if there were any spare rooms going.
The next College year started and one of the other lads who were in the other rooms moved on. So Kate moved into one of the vacant rooms.
Sure enough a small hole next to the ceiling light pull switch appeared in her room too and within the first few weeks the pervy landlord had dropped her rent too, saying that she did it for her friend and it was nice to have polite girls rather than drunken loud lads.
Many of the girls in our Classes were disgusted with these 2 girls. To be fair neither of them were any more promiscous than the others who looked down on them.
Infact they were great girls who loved a laugh and joke with us lads
