ok so I need help guys im 15 and I will take my upper braces off in 4 weeks and get a plastic retainer for my upper teeth. That I will wear only on nights. I already have a permanent retainer for my down teeth. What should I do? Can I still mew with a plastic retainer for upper teeth and permanent retainer for down teeth?

I think braces/retainers are a bad idea when puberty growth is happening. I am pretty sure it limited my jaw's growth but I am OK nevertheless.
Somehow, some punks think mewing does not work after 18yo while braces do work on adults.

same here, my jaw is narrowed than it was before puberty due to braces.

And I've listened years ago a French orthodontic who said braces should be put only on adults because there were a lot of negatives to get it done before, not only from the looks perspective... which now makes even more sense to me.

i was fucked then : mouthbreathing + braces at teenage period, my lower third WILL have been top tier.
Now it's just good-very good tier.
i wish i did go now for invisalign, and did mew all day long during this period.

i'll never have a very good tier jaw..
even maxfac don't want to do bimax to me, since i have a perfect occlusion.
It's over no ?

WTF. I am 46 yo.
It's just longer depending of your age/genetics but there is adaptation till death.
It's called "Life".

Yes it does. It's so good i was mouth breathing 16 year old with receding jaw and now my jaw is very prominent. I take great pride in my jaw.

are you all serious bro's ?
like after the 20's ?

i will try at 22yo, i pray it'll work
I doubt it will bring great results since you're at end stages of your facial development, but yeah it can bring you something.

No mewing for your prenatal t

I think prenatal T could've been my main issue though.
My face is quite feminine so I thought I got most of my facial features from my mom but after looking at a photo I found of my dad it turns out I look a lot like him. Just less masculine.
What are the chances that cocaine and heroin and alcohol during pregnancy lower prenatal T?
No palate for your face. No palate for your bones and eye area
My eye/nose area are my best features

Still havent got a answer if MEWING works with a permanent retainer on the bottom teeth and a plastic retainer on upper

Does it cause downward growth or fuck up ur lower third?

My chin actually got better when mewing with invas and retainers.

Yes during puberty.
Not after.
The chin gets better, mines too, but now i have not a lot of forwardth grown + more narrow jaw.

Not sure. Just to get my teeth "straight".
But, to me, I am quite sure this shit explains a lot of long/triangle faces we see today.
